Juice and Smoothie Recipes

 

 

Due to popular demand from my clients, I am posting my personal juice and smoothie recipes.

SMOOTHIES

Beam Me Up Banana

2   bananas (frozen)
1   cup of strawberries 
1   cup of vanilla rice milk 
1   cap full of Vanilla Extract
2   tablespoons of Grade B Maple Syrup 
1/10   teaspoon of nutmeg  
Place all ingredients in blender, mix and drink.

 

Garden of Eden

½ cup of sliced strawberries
2   apples peeled, cut and with seeds removed
½   cup of blueberries
½   cup of peaches
¾   cup of natural apple juice 
¾   cup of natural orange juice
Place all ingredients in blender, mix and drink
Make sure your juices are not from concentrate

Just Dew It

1/2 Honeydew melon 
1 medium orange
1 medium peach, pitted
1/2 fresh pineapple chunks
1 - 2 cup ice cubes (optional)

Preparation: Start blender at low and increase slowly to high. Blend for 45 seconds or until desired smoothie-ness is reached.  It should yield about 2 servings (3 1/4 cups)

 

Gettin’ My Grove Back

1   cup of natural orange juice 
1   cup of sliced strawberries 
2   mangos peeled and with seeds removed 
2   tablespoons of Grade B Maple syrup 
1/3   teaspoon of Cinnamon
 ¼   Tablespoon of vanilla extract 
1   cup of crushed ice (optional) 
Place all ingredients in blender, mix and drink

Morning Quickie

2   Frozen Bananas  
1   cup of sliced frozen peaches   
1   cup of natural apple juice 
½ sliced strawberries

Place all ingredients in blender, mix and drink 

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

1 cup of pumpkin puree
1 cup fresh cut apricot or frozen.
1 tbs Grade B Maple Syrup
1 cup almond or rice milk
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 pinch of nutmeg
1 cup of ice
Blend until creamy. Depending on your sweet tooth you may wish to add another tablespoon of Grade B Maple Syrup

Spirulina Smoothie

1/2 cup mixed berries (frozen)
1/4 cup orange juices
1 cup plain almond milk (vanilla or plain)
1 tbsp Spirulina powder

Place the berries, orange juice, plain yogurt and Spirulina powder in your blender and blend for a minute or until green and smooth. If you feel it still needs a bit of sweet try adding a 2 teaspoons of honey.

Orange Creamsicle

1/2 cup almond or rice milk
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup of orange 
2 Tbsp. honey or maple syrup (grade A or B)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Ice (enough to make desired consistency)

Place everything into a blender, mix till ice is crushed.

 

Booty Shaker

  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 Cup of raspberries
  • 1/2 Cup of blueberries (frozen for preference)
  • A dozen strawberries (again, frozen strawberries will help for consistency)
  • Between one and two cups of Cranberry Juice to taste

Bahama Boom Boom

  • 2 Bananas
  • 1/2 Papaya
  • 1 Mango
  • 2 Kiwis
  • A dozen strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup pineapple (optional)
  • One to two cups of apple juice to taste

Jump a Round

  • 1 Orange
  • 2 Kiwis
  • A dozen frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1-2 Cups of orange juice to taste

Almond Sin

  • 1 Cup ice cubes
  • 1 Cup Almond milk
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons of almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons (More or less to taste) of raw cane sugar, maple syrup or honey.

 

Citrus Swizzle

    1 cup of orange juice
    1 pink grapefruit
    1 cup of pineapples
    2 1/2 cups frozen strawberries

Chocolate Slide

2 frozen bananas
2 tbsp of cocoa powder or carob powder
2 cups of  almond or rice milk
2 tbsp of grade b maple syrup or honey
½   cup of water
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Cinna-Moor

  • 1 cup almond or coconut milk
  • 1 frozen chopped banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

 

The Goodness

2 Frozen Bananas
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
A handful of dates
2 cups of vanilla almond milk
1 pitted peach

My Blackberry

  • 1-2 cups blackberries
  • 1 cup vanilla coconut mild (or almond)
  • 1 apple (seeds removed)
  • 1 banana (frozen)

Carrot Cake Smoothie

  • 2 cups (500ml) carrot juice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 5 soaked dates
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cardamom powder
  • Handful of ice cubes

 

Green Smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 1 pear
  • 1 handful spinach leaves
  • 1 handful of kale
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 cup water

Don't Bite that APPLE!

  • 1 red apple
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup of rice or almond milk
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

Pina UnColada Smoothie

  • 1 cup of pineapple chunks
  • 16oz (450ml) vanilla coconut milk
  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 2 tsp grade B maple syrup

 

 

 

Irie Man

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 2 cups of vanilla coconut milk

Kundalini

  • 1 Grapefruit
  • 3 Red Apples
  • 1 Large Cucumber

Island Child

  • 2 Green Apples
  • 1/2 Pineapple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 Mango
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 1 cup of vanilla almond or coconut milk

Acne Basher

2 lemons

Susan's Yum Yum

1 sweet potato
1 carrot 
½ pineapple

It's good for energy, immunity, digestion and skin. 

Detox Juice

1 cucumber
1 large cup of spinach
1 large cup of parsley
1 celery stock
1/2 medium lemon

The real V8

- 3 organic carrots
- 2 organic roma tomatoes
- Parsley bunch ( Just a hand full bunch to taste ) or 
cilantro if you prefer that taste
- 1/2 cup of spinach
- 1 to 2 celery stalks

Beet Around the Bush

- 1 small to medium size beet
- 1 Cup of Kale or Spinach
- 3 whole organic carrots
- 2 Celery Sticks

Mineral Booster

  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 4-6 carrots

Rejuvenator

  • 6 carrots
  • 1 apple
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • ½ handful of wheat grass
  • ½ handful of parsley
  • ½ beet

 

Go-Go Juice

  • 4 carrots
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 beet
  • 1 handful of spinach

Mean Green Machine

- 1 cup of spinach
- 2 cups of kale
- 2 cups of parsley
- 1 cucumber
- 3 celery stalks
- 1 Green Apple

Salad in a Glass

1/2 lb of Kale
2 Tomatoes
6 Carrots
A handful of parsley
1 Granny Smith Apple (seeds removed)
1 Cucumber (peeled)
3 Sweet Peppers (2 red and 1 yellow - the little ones)
1 Clove of Garlic (if you like it spicy)

My Mojo

- 3 whole organic carrots
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 inch raw ginger root

Badda Bing! Badda Bang!

- 1 cup of parsley
- 1/2 apple
- 2 carrots
- 3 celery stalks

Hulk Smash in Glass

1 green apple
2 cups of broccoli
2 celery sticks
1 cup of parsley

Eye Eye Captain

- 6 carrots
- 1 cup of kale

Sigmund

- 1 Cup of Seaweed
